Business packages
These packages are designed for business meetings of somewhat longer duration. You will have the meeting area at your disposal. Depending on the length of your stay and the choice of package, you will be served with an extensive breakfast, a widely varied lunch, a snack and/or a pre-selected three-course dinner. Your particular package can at any time be extended to include dinner to choice, à la carte or as a buffet. Feel free to enquire about the options.
Coaching days
The coaching days are conducted by professional coaches and are held at Stoeterij Groenestein.
One of the coaches is Coby van Beets-van der Hoeff, who, among other things, works for Kifungo, Learn2Interact and InnerDrive. Under the heading ‘Horse coaching: a mirror on four legs’, she draws on the essential differences between horses and people to give you an understanding of your (inner) leadership both in the personal and professional spheres.
Horses ‘read’ people through body language, link this body language with what they feel, and react with a certain type of behaviour. This technique can be used to find the answer to the question ‘Does what a person is exhibiting on the outside tally with what is going on inside him?’ This coaching method can be used for a number of purposes. The groups comprise a maximum of 12 people.
Example of a typical coaching day at Stoeterij Groenestein:
- 09.00: welcome, exploration of learning objectives and personal talks with coach
- 12.30: lunch
- 13.30: coaching session with horses
- 17.00: closing session, with the possibility of dinner and/or overnight stay at Hotel-Restaurant ’t Witte Hoes.
A programme may of course be tailored to your particular needs. The options can be discussed by contacting Hotel-Restaurant ’t Witte Hoes or Stoeterij Groenestein.
Companies like Achmea, KLPD, the Dutch Inland Revenue Service, Oxxio, Erasmus University, UVW (Dutch Association of Water Boards) and VITENS have gone before you, all wildly enthusiastic.
Stoeterij Groenestein
We also offer a fully inclusive day for corporate groups of various sorts – your business associates, personnel or clients, for example. This could take the form of teambuilding, meeting sessions or horse management. A typical schedule is outlined below. If you wish, we will be happy to draw up a customised programme to cater to your specific wishes and tie in with your agenda items.
The various segments of the programme are conducted by our own professional coaches. Under the inspirational leadership of the Groenestein team, you will be introduced to the world of the Friesian pedigree horse, where relaxation, being outdoors in the fresh air, and physical labour go hand in hand with teambuilding, communicating and performance. In his own surprising way, owner and director Jaap van der Ree is able to perfectly communicate the link between the world of horses and the world of business. Management teams from global corporations have already tried their hands at this, with immense enthusiasm.
